Missing Person Located

On July 2, 2007 at approximately 10:45 PM, the Halton Regional Police received information, from the Calgary Alberta City Police, that missing person Michael Mitchell had been located in Calgary.

Mr. Mitchell has been in contact with his family thus bringing the matter to a successful conclusion.

Location: Burlington, Ontario

The Halton Regional Police Service is investigating a report of a young man who went missing shortly after 8:20 a.m. June 21st.

On June 21st, 2007, 20 year old, Michael Mitchell was involved in an argument with his parents. He left the home presumably to go to work in his mother’s car. He never reached work and he and the car have not been seen since.

Michael has never gone missing before and his family is concerned for his safety.

Halton Police are releasing Michaels’s photograph in the hopes that a member of the public will recognize him and call to provide his location.

Michael Mitchell: (20) is described as:

White, 5’10” tall, 180 pounds, has an average build, fair complexion, short dark brown hair and brown eyes.

When Michael left, he was operating a 1995 Honda Civic, 2 door green with Ontario licence # ATBS706

Anyone knowing Michael’s location or the location of the vehicle is asked to call investigators.

The Halton Regional Police Service is continuing to investigate this incident. Anyone with information related to it is asked to contact the Burlington Criminal Investigations Bureau at (905) 825-4777 or (905) 634-1831 Ext. 2315 or by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
